针对以往基于色彩传递的自然感彩色融合处理会降低热目标对比度的问题,研究提出一种基于粗糙集的红外与可见光图像自然感彩色融合处理方法。方法由长波红外图像的灰度信息定义梯度、灰度和噪声条件属性,将常规色彩传递图像划分为三对子图,然后根据各子图的不同特征,有区分地用幂次变换进行增强处理。将基于粗糙集的增强处理效果与直接线性或非线性调整常规色彩传递图像红-绿对立色通道的增强处理效果相比较,发现前者能够避免色彩过渡不平滑、热目标区域分辨率降低,以及某些较热区域不能被明显增强等问题,获得了既能保留红外波段图像良好目标探测性,又有较好整体色彩自然感的彩色融合图像,有效地帮助观察者在感知场景的同时发现热目标。

o solve the problem that the contrast of hot targets may decrease after conventional natural sense color fusion based on color transfer processing, a natural sense color fusion method based on rough set theory for dual-band images is put forward. According to the grayscale information of the infrared image, we define the gradient, the grayscale and the noise condition attributes, and divide the color transfer resulting image into three pairs of sub-images. Then we distinguish the sub-images by their attribute differences, and enhance them respectively using power transformation method. By comparing the enhancement effects of rough-set-based processing and the processing which linearly or nonlinearly adjusts the red-green opponent color channel of conventional color transfer resulting image, we found that the former method can avoid such problems as non-smooth color transition, resolution reduction of hot target regions, and unobvious enhancement of some hot regions. The results showed that the proposed rough-set-based method can provide color fusion images with both high target detection capability and good overall natural color feeling, which can effectively help viewers to discover hot targets better while keeping good scene perception.
