LTE下行链路MAC/PHY API的一种实现方案
n Implementation Design of Downlink MAC/PHY API for LTE system
LTE是3GPP在“移动通信宽带化”趋势下,为了对抗WiMAX等移动宽带无线接入技术的市场挑战,研发出的“准4G”技术,因此LTE对数据传输速率提出了更高的要求。LTE系统中MAC/PHY API是处理MAC层MTP消息,控制并调度PHY物理层链路处理的重要接口,因此MAC/PHY API设计的高效性和完备性直接影响到物理层处理的效率和正确性。本文基于多核DSP处理芯片PC203实现了MAC/PHY API的功能,给出了API的硬件设计框图,介绍了MAC层消息(即MTP消息)并重点研究了API对MTP消息的处理流程,提出了API对MTP消息的异常处理方法。
LTE,as a “4G” technology for broadband wireless access systems, is researched and developed to compete with WiMAX for the market share in the trend of “broadband of mobile communication”, putting forward higher request for the data transmission rate.API is the interface between MAC and PHY, which handles the MTP messages and conctrols the PHY layer, so the high efficiency and completeness of the MAC/PHY API design will affect the efficiency and correctness of the PHY processing. In this paper, API is designed and implemented based on multicore hardware PC203. it provides the API design architecture, introduces the messages of MAC(MTP messages), mainly researches on the processing method for API to handle the MTP messages and presentes the exception handlings of the MTP messages.
