ompared with traditional antitumor agents, the nanomedicines possess unique advantages. Yet, it's necessary to transport nanomedicines to the tumor tissues, so that the nanomedicines can exert the antitumor activities. However, the tumor tissues are abnormal compared with the normal tissues. So, it will encounter a series of barriers when the nanomedicines arrive the tumor areas, and such studies have been reported. This review summarized the recent advances of the transport barriers and improvement strategies when anticancer nanomedicines are transported to the tumor areas.??
