EGCG降低UVB引发的人视网膜色素上皮细胞损伤初步研究

过量的中波紫外线(UVB)辐射是引发人视网膜色素上皮细胞(UVB)损伤的主因。本研究通过建立RPE细胞的UVB损伤模型研究EGCG对RPE细胞的保护作用。通过MTT、细胞活性氧含量分析、激光共聚焦分析,结果表明EGCG可以减少UVB胁迫下的RPE细胞的损伤,避免UVB引起的细胞凋亡增加的现象。
Excessive exposure to ultraviolet B (UVB) is one of the major factors to the injure of human retinal pigment epithelia cells (RPE). In this study, a UVB injury model was established to investigate the protect effect of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). The MTT assay and confocal laser microscopy were conduct and the results showed that the EGCG could alleviate the RPE cells injure induced by UVB irradiation, inhibiting the increase of cell apoptosis.
