水相剥离法制备二维TMDs纳米片作为HER催化剂

本文以水和表面活性剂十二烷基苯磺酸钠(SDBS)的混合溶液作为剥离介质,以MoS2粉末为原料,利用超声辅助剥离法制备得到分散稳定、催化活性高的二维MoS2纳米片。研究结果表明,离心转速影响MoS2纳米片剥离的层数以及电催化析氢活性,离心转速越高,则所得MoS2纳米片的层数越少,电催化析氢效果越好。在4000 rpm离心转速下,得到双层MoS2纳米片,该纳米片的起始过电位和塔菲尔斜率分别为0.524V和143 mV/dec。该SDBS-水剥离介质具有一定的普适性,适用于其他二维过渡金属硫化物纳米片(例如WS2)的制备。WS2纳米片也表现出较高的电催化析氢活性,起始过电位和塔菲尔斜率分别为0.381V和128 mV/dec。

novel liquid system composed of water and the cheap and green surfactant SDBS (sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate) is developed to exfoliate MoS2 bulk into MoS2 nanosheets with the aid of ultrasonication. The as-prepared dispersion of MoS2 nanosheets has good dispersion stability, and high electrocatalytic activity in hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The results reveal that with the increase of centrifugal speeds, the number of layers of MoS2 nanosheets is decreasing, and the electrocatalytic activity of HER is increasing. At 4000 rpm centrifugal speed, the as-prepared of MoS2 is bilayer, and low onset overpotential and tafel slope were 0.524V and 143 mV/dec, respectively. The proposed liquid-phase system is not limited to exfoliate MoS2 but also used to exfoliate other TMDs (transition metal dichalcogenides), such as WS2. The as-prepared of WS2 nanosheets of onset overpotential and tafel slope were 0.381V and 128 mV/dec, respectively.
