柴达木盆地环境演变研究进展

Review on environmental change of Qaidam Basin

分析了20世纪80年代来柴达木盆地环境演变研究的进展,着重描述了研究区的环境演变记录分布,且通过不同时间尺度不同记录间的对比,综合了柴达木地区环境演变的历史。上新世晚期以来,该区总的气候趋势与全球变化具有较好的一致性,表现为冷干趋势;由于受青藏高原隆升的影响,该区上新世晚期以来环境变化具有明显的区域性特征。末次冰期表现出急剧的变冷干趋势,且冷暖波动频繁。在30 ka BP左右柴达木盆地普遍出现大湖期。柴达木盆地独特的地理环境决定了其在全球变化研究中的重要意义,但由于受历史条件的限制,前人所取得的研究成果比较混乱,因此,在前人研究的基础上,开展进一步的工作,深入研究柴达木盆地环境演化历史是有必要的。

Progresses in environmental changes in Qaidam Basin after late 1980's have been comprehensively discussed. The highlights emphasized in the paper the location of environmental records and the history of environmental evolvement in Qaidam Basin. And the character of environmental evolvement are illustrated: from the late Pliocene,the climate became colder and drier. The generally evolutionary trend was well in accordance with global climate change. 11cold-warm paleoclimatic cycles have been recognized since the mid-Pleistocene, comparing it with the loess-paleosol from Luochuan well. However, because of the uplift of Tibetan Plateau, the regional character was obvious that the climate of the late glacier age became sharply colder and drier, but the lake levels were much higher about 30 Ka BP The especial surrounding of Qaidam Basin decide that it will have significant meaning in the aspect of global change research. Because the historical conditions limited the advancement of paleoclimate change research on Qaidam Basin, the achievements obtained by the formers was rather promiscuous. So we have to make more progress for rebuilding the evolutionary story of Qaidam Basin, then compare it with ice-core record, loess-paleosol sequence and marine isotope stage.
