初中生的社会比较对认知与情感信任的影响
Social comparison's effects on cognitive and affective trust of middle school students
本研究旨在探讨不同友谊状态下,初中生的社会比较对认知与情感信任的影响,及两种信任在社会比较与亲密度变化的关系中所起的中介作用。选取522名初一新生,开学初同伴提名出一位最亲密朋友,期中考试后让其比较与该好友的成绩排名并测量对好友的认知与情感信任,随后对好友的亲密度进行重新评价。结果表明:在亲密朋友中,情感信任高于认知信任,相对于下行比较,上行比较损害情感信任,社会比较不影响认知信任;在普通朋友中,情感信任与认知信任水平相当,相对于上行比较,下行比较损害认知和情感信任;社会比较只能通过认知信任影响朋友之间的亲密度变化(完全中介),即上行比较时,会提升认知信任从而更有利于维持亲密的友谊关系。
he current study investigates that social comparison's effects on cognitive and affective trust of middle school students who are in different friendship states, and whether or not the two kinds of trust play mediation effects in the relationship between social comparison and intimacy change in friendship. 522 freshmen of middle school nominated one most intimate friend at the beginning of term. After midterm examination, they compared their own class ranks with their nominated friends' class ranks. Then subjects evaluated their cognitive and affective trust to their nominated friends. Finally, subjects reevaluated the intimacy of their nominated friends. The results shows that: (1)to the close friend, affective trust is higher than cognitive trust. Compared to downward comparison, upward comparison hurts affective trust. Social comparison has no effect on cognitive trust. (2) To the general friend, there is no difference between affective trust and cognitive trust. Compared to upward comparison, downward comparison hurts both affective trust and cognitive trust. (3) Cognitive trust plays a fully mediation effect in the relationship between social comparison and intimacy change in friendship, compared to upward comparison, downward comparison has an indirect negative effect on friendship intimacy through cognitive trust only.
