本文介绍了一种硬件实现MIMO信道衰落的方法。典型信道衰落服从瑞利分布,本文采用了改进的Jakes模型(SOS模型),进行了性能仿真和基于硬件的定点化设计。MIMO信道的一大特点是,不同子信道之间的衰落不同。对于富散射环境,则进一步做出了子信道之间衰落独立同分布的假设。本文的设计方案同样考虑到了各子信道衰落的独立性,并提出了实现方案。最后给出基于该方案的浮点仿真性能和定点仿真性能对比。

In this paper a hardware-based MIMO channel fading implementation procedure is introduced. Typical wireless channel introduces a Rayleigh fading to the signal. An improved model of Jakes model is used to generate an exllent performance, and the simulation result, concerning both floating-point and fix-point simulation, proves its fitness on hardware design. An important characteristic of MIMO channel is, fading for different sub-channels may differ from each other. As to a channel with enough scatters, all fadings are supposed to be independent, namely i.i.d. This paper takes the independence into account to provide a solution on modeling MIMO channel on FPGA. In the end, it gives a statistical prove on the performance.
