基于地质空间数据库的OWL本体转换方法

利用已有的地质数据库构建地质本体,是实现地质领域信息共享的重要方法之一。依据数据库的关系模式,自动识别实体、联系、单继承关系、多元继承关系、嵌套关系、聚类关系及基数约束等语义,提出了地质空间数据库到OWL地质本体的转换方法,利用反向映射处理验证转换前后的语义完整性。其中,利用子类和父类之间的继承及并运算实现了数据库中地质年代间的嵌套关系、多元继承关系到地质本体概念间关系的转换方法。钻孔数据库到地质本体的转换实例验证了方法的有效性。
Geological ontology construction based on geological database is an important method to share information in geology domain. According to relational schema of geological database, a conversion approach was presented to convert geological spatial database to OWL-based geological ontology, which is based on identifying semantics such as entities, relationships, single inheritance relationship, multiple inheritance relationship, nest relationship, cluster relationship and cardinality constraints. The semantic integrity of before and after transformation was verified by inverse mapping process. The heritance and union operation between superclass and subclass was ulitized to convert the nest relationship in geochronology, the multiple inheritance relationship to the concepts relationships in geological ontology. A concrete example of conversion from borehole database to geological ontology verified the validity of the proposed method in this paper.
