一种基于开放式多媒体应用平台的无线多媒体终端

In recent years, with the extensive growth of Internet business, Multimedia services has gradually become one of the current mainstreams. Multimedia system users access multimedia information through the multimedia terminals, these terminals sharing of multimedia information through high-speed communications networks. With the strengthening of the capacities of media processors and image processing technology, multimedia video terminal can grow in small, but performance has become stronger, miniaturization and simple operation of video terminals are multimedia trends. In this paper, a design scheme of wireless multimedia terminal based on the open multimedia application platform OMAP5910 is proposed to make the terminal have the function of video communication. In which, configuration and drive of wireless communication module, information transmission based-on SIP as well as audio coding process are discussed in detail. According to software simulation, it is proved that the base function of wireless multimedia terminal could be realized.
