raffic signs automatic identification system is an important part of the Intelligent Transportation System. This article provides an automatic traffic sign recognition device based on the MATLAB. Through the on-board camera during the driving of vehicles on the traffic sign information collection, and transmitted to the computer for image processing and template matching recognition, thereby detecting the corresponding traffic signs, timely prompt or warning to the driver, reducing the traffic accidents.
