应用蒙特卡罗方法进行大物件放射测量仪的探测效率校正
Monte Carlo Simulations of efficiency correction of large volume radioactivity measuring instrument
在对放射性材料进行测量时需要保证测量结果的准确性,测量不准会造成放射性污染物的处理不当,将放射性泄露到环境中去。为了对核动力厂中的大体积放射性材料进行准确测量,需要研究待测物体在放射性测量仪器内放置位置不同而导致测量结果出现的偏差程度。本文应用蒙特卡罗方法建立计算模型,并且与实验测量结果进行验证对比,证明了模型的准确性。然后利用计算模型对探测仪器进行了空间响应函数的计算,得到测量仪器内各位置的空间响应函数,进而得到空间响应不均匀的修正因子。同时,考虑到放射性材料的特点,计算得到在不同材料、密度物项的放射性材料在不同射线能量下的效率校正因子,通过对测量的修正获得准确可靠的探测结果。
he accuracy must be guaranteed when radioactive materials are measured. Otherwise, it will lead to undetected errors which may result in radiation releases. In order to measure a large volume of radioactive materials in nuclear power plant accurately,we need to determine the deviation in measurement which depends on different locations of radioactive materials in the measuring instrument. At first, a calculating model is developed and compared with the experimental data. It turned out that the calculating model is correct. Then, by calculating spatial response function, the counting efficiency of different locations relative to that of the center in the measuring instrument can be obtained, according which the uniform areas of spatial response function can be determined. Meanwhile, considering the characteristics of radioactive materials to be measured, the efficiency of radioactive materials of different materials and different densities would be calculated under different energy by Monte Carlo method. And the results obtained by this approach could be used for the practical correction of the measuring instrument.
