his paper provides that in the SBR+external recycle of aerobic sludge process, reduce the amount of aeration, maintain low DO concentration in the SBR, reduce the excessive carbon consumption or invalid oxidation, and then the efficiency of denitrification could be increased, at the same time, phosphorus will be removed through phosphorus-rich sewage discharge in the external recycle of aerobic sludge, in order to achieve simultaneous nitrogen and phosphorus removal of low C/N ratio sewage. The experiment results show that: in the effective volume of 16L of SBR reactor, working in the operation mode of anaerobic 1.5h / microaerobic 3h / anoxic 1.5h / aerobic 0.5h + anaerobic phosphorus release 2h in the external recycle of aerobic sludge of 1.5L, controlling the aeration of microaerobic as 2.5m3/h.m3, average DO concentration as 0.2mg/l, the objective of simultaneous nitrogen and phosphorus removal of low C/N ratio sewage will be achieved.
