The development of Total Therapy Study in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukeia at St Jude Children's Reseach Hospital
St.Jude儿童研究医院是世界顶尖的研究和治疗儿童癌症和血液类疾病的医院，从1962年开始，便开始了对儿童白血病的科学研究和治疗。在儿童急性淋巴细胞白血病方面，其总结了一系列治疗方案Total therapy studyⅠ～ⅩⅥ，获得了非常好的临床治疗效果，其5年无事件生存率已达到90％以上，大大改善了儿童急性淋巴细胞白血病患者的预后。因此，对其一系列治疗方案进行总结和分析能够更好的了解儿童急性淋巴细胞白血病治疗的发展，为进一步提高国内儿童急性淋巴细胞白血病的治疗效果提高帮助和借鉴。
St.Jude Children's Research Hospital is one of the world's premier treatment and care centers for children with cancer and blood disorders. Since 1962, they started the research and treatment on childhood leukemia. For the childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia, they have developed a series of Total therapy study Ⅰ～ⅩⅥ, which have achieved very good clinical therapy effects. Recently, their 5 years event-free survival exceeded 90%, which are the best worldwide outcomes for that disease. This review was a summary and analysis to these series of Total therapy study, which can help improving the understanding and the therapy effect of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
