基于精明增长概念的中小城市空间形态发展分析--以凤凰县为例

With economic growth, China's small and medium cities showing a trend gaining development, urban spatial morphology varies significantly. So in this paper we used the ENVI remote sensing image processing platform, GIS technology and smart growth theory, fractal dimension and compactness of the city as a form of indicators. Taking the Fenghuang County as an example, take 1989, 2000, 2013, three phase satellite remote sensing data as the basis of the spatial and temporal characteristics and external spatial form of urban land expansion in quantitative analysis. The results showed that: urban construction land speed from slow to fast; spatial form by a rule, compact becomes irregular, loose; Urban Expansion and Development of the centralized mode to the growth axis along the strip-type mode. Thus, utilize smart growth concepts to guide development of small and medium cities, t explore the sustainable development of small cities and create a better living environment goals.
