miRNA与植物体细胞胚发生
he possible role of miRNA on plant somatic embryogenesis
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) 是一类内源非编码的、长度为21-24 nt的单链小分子RNA,通过剪切靶基因或抑制蛋白翻译在转录后水平上行使其调控功能。miRNA影响植物生长发育整个过程,对合子胚发育有重要的调控作用,然而在离体条件下体细胞胚发生的miRNA作用机理研究较少,而体细胞胚发生过程重演合子胚发育的途径。本文借鉴miRNA对合子胚发育的调控功能并结合体细胞胚发生相关miRNA高通量测序结果讨论其在体细胞胚发生中可能的作用,重点从体细胞胚发生相关的植物激素信号转导和转录因子阐述miRNA对体细胞胚发生过程可能产生的影响,并对今后体细胞胚发生相关miRNA的研究进行了展望。
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of endogenous non-coding single strand small RNAs of 21-24 nucleotides (nt) in length, which guide post-transcriptional gene expression via mRNA cleavage or protein translation repression. miRNAs have beeen shown to play an important role in plant development, especially in zygotic embryogenesis. However, little is known about regulatory mechanism of miRNAs in somatic embryogenesis (SE) in the present study. Since the process of SE is similar with zygotic embryogenesis, the possible role of miRNA on SE is discussed in this review, which is got from the insight of roles of miRNA on zygotic embryogenesis and high-throughput sequencing data of miRNA related SE. Particularly, plant hormones transduction and transcription factors, which related to SE, are as two key points to elucidate this possible influence of miRNA on SE. The future work of miRNA on SE is discussed and prospected.
