Lightweight Asymmetric Identities - A New Direction in the Brand Security
本文指出商品(食品)安全包括品质安全和品牌安全两个方面,前者须在生产厂家内被控制,后者需在市场上被监管。品牌安全即是防伪和溯源要有保障。商品的防伪就是要防止其身份被假冒,是真实溯源的前提,因此,商品(食品)的防伪与溯源问题本质上是身份认证问题。传统的水印、激光标志、电码(即电话查询码或电子监管码)是对称身份,可以被模仿,因而不能有效防伪。二维码是追溯码,可以被复制,也不能防伪。无线射频身份(RFID)和指板身份(BFID)是非对称身份,可以从根本上解决防伪问题,并可重复验证。与RFID相比,BFID无需芯片、无需读卡器以及环保节能,更适合商品(食品)、尤其一次性消费品的防伪与溯源,也更适合打造统一验证平台和构建轻量级物联网。因此,BFID代表了商品(食品)防伪与溯源的新方向。
he paper points out that the security of merchandise (food) includes quality security and brand security. The former must be controlled in manufacturers, and the latter needs to be supervised in the market. Brand security is namely the assurance of anti-forgery and tracing sources. The anti-forgery of merchandise is right to prevent its identity from being imitated, and a prerequisite for truly tracing sources. Hence, the anti-forgery and tracing source of merchandise is essentially identity authentication. Traditional watermarks, laser-marks, and telephonic codes are symmetric identities which may be imitated, and thus cannot effectively do anti-forgery. Two dimension codes which may be copied are used for tracing sources, but not for anti-forgery. Radio frequency identities (RFID) and board-fingered identities (BFID) are asymmetric identities. They may be used to thoroughly solve anti-forgery problems, and verified repeatedly. Compared with RFIDs, BFIDs have no chips, no readers, are green and economizing energy, and more suitable for the anti-forgery and tracing sources of merchandise (food, especially consumer commodities), the construction of a united verification platform, and the building of a lightweight internet of things. Therefore, BFIDs represent a new direction in anti-forgery and tracing sources of merchandise.
