以往针对多天线系统的研究多侧重于分别采用分集或空间复用的工作方式,来提高系统可靠性或传输速率,但这样往往导致另一种增益的损失。本文将二者联合考虑,提出一种闭环多天线系统的最优分集复用切换判决准则,并进一步给出了低复杂度次优判决算法。在本文中,首先给出了多天线系统的误码率近似边界,并以最小误码率为准则推导出了分集与复用工作模式的折衷判决关系,在发射端根据反馈信息采用不同工作方式来满足系统的要求。本文所提算法具有较低的计算量,性能与最优算法相近,可根据信道实时状态来选择不同的工作模式,满足无线通信系统实时性和快速性的要求。仿真结果验证了所提算法的优越性和可行性。

raditional multi-antenna systems use diversity combining techniques and spatial multiplexing. These multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems can obtain high reliability or transmission rate. Most works, however, focus exclusively on one of the diversity gain and multiplexing gain. This paper proposes a switched decision criterion to get optimal tradeoff performance of the two gains, and give out a low complexity near optimization algorithm. The approximate upper-bounded of error rate of the MIMO system is proposed in this paper, and derived the tradeoff decision criterion based on minimum bits error rate. The proposed algorithm has much lower complexity, the performance is close to optimization algorithm, and meets the real-time requirements of communication system by selecting different mode. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm in practical applications.
