基于负载均衡的eICIC与CRE自适应组网方法

增强型干扰协调(eICIC,enhanced inter-cell interference coordination)与小区范围扩展(CRE,cell range expansion)是提升异构网络容量的很好的方法。但是固定比例的几乎空白子帧(ABS,almost blank subframe)及CRE偏置值对于不断变化的网络需求不完全适用。本文主要提出两种方案,这两种方案的空白比例值及CRE偏置值可以根据信道容量及网络需求不断变化。集中式调度算法主要在宏基站进行实施,而分布式调度算法主要在Pico基站端实施。仿真验证,提出的方案可以使得小区总的吞吐量及小区边缘用户的吞吐量得到提升。除此以外,分布式调度算法可以有效减小控制信令的开销,并且当网络负载失衡的时候,性能逼近于集中式调度算法。

eICIC and CRE technology can greatly increase channel capacity and spectrum efficiency. However, fixed muting ratio and CRE bias value are not always appropriate due to the varying network load. In this paper, two adaptive resource management schemes are proposed in which the muting ratio and CRE bias value can be adjusted dynamically according to the channel capacity and traffic requirements. The centralized is performed at the macro-eNBs while the distributed scheme is performed at pico-eNBs. It is demonstrated by the system level simulation that significant performance gains can be achieved under the proposed schemes in both the sector total throughput and the cell-edge user equipment throughput. In addition, control overhead is reduced by the distributed scheme and its performance is close to the centralized scheme when the network load is imbalanced.
