本文报道了通过捆绑Yb:YAG激光陶瓷来强化Cr,Yb:YAG自调Q微片激光器激光性能的研究结果。首次实现了Yb:YAG/Cr,Yb:YAG自调Q微片激光器的激光输出。当吸收泵浦功率为7.1 W时获得了0.53 W的自调Q激光输出,对应的光光转换效率为7.5%。在实验中获得了脉冲能量大于25微焦耳、脉冲宽度小于3 ns、峰值功率高达9 kW的自调Q激光脉冲输出。同时研究了输出耦合镜透过率对Yb:YAG/Cr,Yb:YAG自调Q微片激光器激光性能的影响。

In this paper, enhancement of Cr,Yb:YAG self-Q-switched microchip lasers by bonding Yb:YAG crystal was investigated. Yb:YAG/Cr,Yb:YAG self-Q-switched microchip lasers has been demonstrated for the first time, average output of 0.53 W was obtained under absorbed pump power of 7.1 W. Laser pulses with pulse energy over 25 microjoules, pulse width shorter than 3 ns and peak power over 9 kW were achieved. The effect of transmission of output coupler on the laser performance was also addressed.
