FDI对中国工业部门的外溢效应：基于行业内和行业间的分析

Using industry-level data, this paper discusses FDI spillover effect in China’s industrial sector. It is shown that spillover resulted from vertical linkage is more significant compared with horizontal spillover. Further analysis shows that narrowing of technological gap between domestic and foreign firms and increase of R&D intensity are all favorable to vertical linkage. Export orientation of local firms has negative effect on forward linkage, while export orientation of foreign firms has positive effect on vertical linkage. Finally, the position of domestic firms in the industrial chain can also affect vertical linkage.
