Watermark bits auxiliary LDPC scheme in DQPSK direct detection optical communication system
本文研究了在100Gb/s高速光通信系统中,使用DQPSK调制格式时,水印位辅助的低密度奇偶校验码(LDPC)纠错编码方案中水印位比例对水印方案性能的影响。通过对译码性能的对比,给出了该水印方案中水印位数量的最佳比例关系。仿真结果表明,在BER=1e-9时,与传统的对数似然比置信度传播(LLR-BP)译码算法相比较,水印位辅助的LDPC方案的最佳净编码增益(NCG)提高了0.5dB,同时,在获得相同的误码率时,译码过程所用到的平均迭代次数也得到了很大程度的降低。
In this paper, we study the influence of decoding performance of watermark bits auxiliary LDPC scheme under different percentages of watermark bits over 100Gb/s DQPSK high-speed direct detection optical communication system. We also find the optimum percentage of water-mark bits according to the performance comparison. Simulation result shows that an improvement of 0.5dB net code gain (NCG) has been gained by using the optimum Watermark scheme at a post-FEC BER of 1e-9, comparing with the traditional Log-likelihood Ratios Belief Propagation (LLR-BP) decoding algorithm. Also, for the same bit error rate (BER), the number of iterations used in LDPC decoding decreases.
