城市道路交叉口转向半径与右转运行车速关系研究

交叉口右转车流的速度影响右转机动车与慢行交通的交通安全,而转向半径是右转车速的重要影响因素。本文选择两个典型交叉口的八个右转转角,应用数理统计理论研究右转运行车速特性,建立了右转运行车速与转弯半径的统计模型,并进行有冲突和无冲突条件下右转运行车速的对比、右转实际运行车速与设计车速的对比。研究发现,转向半径与右转车辆的运行速度呈正比;在相同的转向半径下,实际运行车速较设计车速高。研究结果可为交叉口设计标准选择以及右转机动车控制方式设计提供参考依据。

he safety of non-motorized traffic and right-turning vehicles at intersections are affected by the velocity of right-turning motors,which is drastically influenced by the turning radius. In this article, we choose eight right-turning corners at two typical intersections to estimate the statistical model of velocity of right-turning motors and turning radius. Meanwhile, comparisons have been made among operating speeds and between design speed and actual velocity under traffic confliction or not. The research indicates that turning radius is proportional to the velocity of right-turning vehicle, also the actual speed is higher than the design speed under a given radius. Conclusions could be guidelines for standard of intersection design and signalized control strategy of right-turning vehicles.
