Synthesis of RTIL and its electrochemical properties
Room Temperature Ionic Liquid 1-ethyl-3-methyl-imimidazolium hexafluorophosphate [BMIM]PF6 was prepared in two reactors by new mild simplified synthetic route.The stable potential windows were tested by linear potential sweep on GCE glassy carbon electrode. Cyclic voltammetry and potential step were used to test the electrochemical performance of ionic liquid electrolytes on GCE. The result shows that the synthesis production rate is above 90%, synthesis method simple feasible achieves , [BMIM]PF6 may be served as electrolyte solvent.
