Belt conveyor is the energy efficiency of mechanical energy in the coal mine should focus on an important technical indicators. This article focuses on the mechanical efficiency and energy efficiency differences, especially that of the conveyor\'s energy efficiency is the classic sense can not be measured in terms of mechanical efficiency. This paper proposes energy efficient conveyor belt concept and calculation method and basis of the information of our preliminary analysis of the energy efficiency of conveyor belt level and the gap with foreign countries.
