VNA不确定度传播的协方差矩阵分析及在功率计校准中应用

矢量网络分析仪(VNA)是微波元器件和无线系统前端进行表征时必不可少的测量仪器。根据这类仪器测量和校准的特点,提出了基于协方差矩阵的VNA测量不确定度传播分析流程及方法。由于充分考虑了复频信息在实部虚部间、不同频点间、不同变量间的相关性,该方法可以有效地分析VNA系统和随机测量不确定度的定量传播,确保了多元相关变量不确定度分析的正确性和准确性。在实际应用中,重点考察了功率计校准过程中的不确定度传播规律,定量分析了系统测量不确定度从VNA校准件经S-参数有效测量值最终传递到功率计失配因子的结果,并通过Monte Carlo仿真检验了该方法的正确性。
Vector network analysis is currently the essential technique for the RF microwave components. According to the measurement and calibration features of these network analyzers, this paper proposed a covariance-matrix-based uncertainty analysis procedure and algorithm. Take full account of the complex frequency information between the imaginary and the real parts, the different frequency, the correlation between different variables, the method can effectively analyzer the quantitative calculation of systematic and random uncertainty, and to ensure the correctness and accuracy of a multi-variant uncertainty analysis. Complying with the functional relationships in practice, this paper used the power-meter calibration experiment, and analyze the calculation of quantitative uncertainty propagations from VNA calibration standards to S-parameter measurements and finally to the power-meter calibration results, and used Monte Carlo simulation to test the correctness of the method.
