本文介绍了时域均衡中的最大似然序列检测的基本原理,及频域均衡的基本原理,在ITU urban macro信道下,用这两种均衡算法进行均衡,其中最大似然检测用的Viterbi算法。在相同的仿真条件下,进行了仿真,仿真结果可以得出最大似然序列检测算法以较高的复杂度换来比频域均衡的好很多的性能。

his paper provides two kinds of channel equalization methods principles, one is frequency-domain equalization, the other is the maximum likelihood sequence detection. Use ITU urban macro channel as the example , do the equalization using this two methods, the maximum likelihood sequence detection uses the Viterbi algorithm. Through simulation we can find that the performance of maximum likelihood sequence detection is much better than the performance of frequency-domain equalization but with much higher complexity.
