Study on the properties of DMDEOS modified SiO2 aerogels

研究了二甲基二乙氧基硅烷(DMDEOS)作为联合前驱体改性制备SiO2气凝胶的性能,测试了不同DMDEOS加入量对凝胶时间、耐潮性能、体积吸水率和耐水性能的影响。结果表明:随DMDEOS加入量增加,凝胶时间呈抛物线式延长;耐潮性能随DMDEOS加入量提高逐渐增大,1/4加入量时长期放置导热系数增加约10%;体积吸水率和耐水性能需要DMDEOS加入量达到一定数值才能够有明显效果,试验中DMDEOS/TEOS=1/4加入量下有明显改善,1/8和1/16加入量下效果均较差且无明显差异。

he performance of SiO2 aerogel using DMDEOS as a combined precursor was studied in this paper. The effects of different ratios of DMDEOS/TEOS addition on gel time, moisture resistance, volumetric water absorption and water resistance were tested. The results showed that: the gel time parabolic increases with the increase of DMDEOS addition; the moisture resistance increases with the increase of DMDEOS addition,and the long-term thermal conductivity increases about 10% with 1/4 ratio added; Volumetric water absorption and water resistance require a certain amount of DMDEOS addition to have a significant impact. In the experiment, significant improvement was observed with 1/4 ratio addition, while the 1/16 and 1/8 ratio addition both have no significant effect.
