基于元数据的地理信息服务方式研究

With the development of information technology and WebGIS, metadata, one of the key technologies of geographic information, is becoming a new hotspot in the filed of geographic information. Starting with introuction of Geographic Information Services, this paper studied geospatial metadata, found three modes of metadata-based geographic information services: metadata-providing service, metadata-indexing service and metadata-supporting service, and discussed the key technologies involved in detail, such as AJAX, meta data and geographic information services integration, XML, XSL, etc.
