ransition metal-catalyzed oxidative C-H/C-H cross-coupling between two (hetero)arenes is one of the most attractive approaches to bi(hetero)aryls. In recent years, a number of successful examples of the dehydrogenative coupling between two simple arenes, between a heteroarene and an arene, and between two heteroarenes have been reported. The current review focus specifically on the recent development and detailed analysis on the versatility and practicality of these transformations of cross-dehydrogenative coupling between two (hetero)arenes.
