基于BREW平台的手机内存管理的研究
Research of cellphone memory management based on the Brew platform
手机作为一种嵌入式设备，不具备像硬盘那样拥有大容量的存储介质，而大多使用EPROM、EEPROM或闪存(Flash Memory)作为存储介质，市场也要求手机的小巧轻便和低功耗，因此对手机的芯片处理速度和存储空间有严格的限制。虽然目前大多数移动设备的处理速度和存储空间比以前有了很大的扩展，但存储资源还是非常的宝贵，尤其是内存资源，为了解决内存不足所带来的一些问题，我们有必要对基于BREW平台的应用开发中的内存管理问题进行讨论研究，本文对BREW内存管理技术做了一些研究。对BREW的内存结构和内存管理机制做了透彻地分析和研究，并提出了一些BREW内存管理的改进方法。
s an embedded device ,mobile phone use EPROM or Flash Memory as the storage mediums because it has less storage medium than hard disc drive. Market needs its smart and low consuming and has a limitation of the chip processing speed and storage space. Although most of mobile devices has been greatly expanded than before on the two parts, we still need to try to solve the problems in lack of memory based on the BREW platform .This paper provide the researches of brew memory management, analysis of the structure of memory and methods for management enhancement.
