水基复合抗菌剂羧甲基壳聚糖银噻苯咪唑的抗菌性能及其尺寸效应
ntimicrobial activity of aqueous complex agents Ag-Carboxymethyl chitosan-Thiabendazole and their size effect
本研究基于72.4,166,305,400 kDa的壳聚糖合成的羧甲基壳聚糖,制备了四种羧甲基壳聚糖银噻苯咪唑(Ag-CMCTS-TBZ)水基复合抗菌剂,并用电位滴定、紫外可见光谱、傅立叶红外光谱,动力光散射粒度分析和最小抑菌浓度对其理化生物性能进行了表征。结果表明,四种水基复合抗菌剂对大肠杆菌、金黄色葡萄球菌、白色念珠菌的最小抑菌浓度在30-125 mg/L,对黑曲霉、毛霉的最小抑菌浓度在100-1800 mg/L,表观粒度为365-1229nm,复合抗菌剂所基于的分子量、表观粒度与抗菌性能之间没有线性关系,并非表观粒度越小抗菌性能越强。单变量方差分析结果则表明,四种水基复合抗菌剂之间没有显著的广谱抗菌性能差异。
Four aqueous complex agents of Ag-Carboxymethyl chitosan-thiabendazole (Ag-CMCTS-TBZ) were prepared using Carboxymethyl chitosans synthesized from chitosans with molecular weights (MWs) of 72.4, 166, 305 and 400 kDa respectively. Potentiometric titration, UV-vis spectrometry, FT-IR spectroscopy, ZetaPlus particle size analyzing and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) assessment were used to characterize them. The results showed that the four aqueous complex agents presented broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity with MICs ranging from 30 to 125 mg/L for bacteria Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and yeast Candida albicans and 100-1800 mg/L for fungi Aspergillus niger, Mucor sp., and the smaller apparent diameter of the aqueous complex agents within the range of 365-1229 nm did not certainly lead to better antimicrobial activity. The univariate analysis of variance further confirmed no significant difference in antimicrobial activity among the four agents. These agents are more convenient for application to water-based acrylic latex coatings, compared to the solid Ag-CMCTS-TBZ formulation in our previous study.
