he group pumping test is one of the most direct and most accurate investigating means to find out hydrogeology conditions or groundwater allowable withdrawal capacity in hydro-geological exploration. It can detect the engineering problems such as recharge source of groundwater, influence range of pumping test, enrichment and water supply capacity of aquifers, hydraulic interaction between surface water and groundwater, hydraulic properties of fault structures, and influence of ground subsidence etc. This paper described the test’s technical requirement and data processing methods, then introduced the methods of calculating hydro-geological parameters and evaluating groundwater allowable withdrawal capacity.
