主机标识协议(HIP)是基于主机身份与位置分离技术的典型协议,能够很好的解决IP地址二义性、以及当前互联网面临的诸多问题,如移动性、多家乡、路由可扩展和安全性等。本文介绍了HIP协议的基本原理、映射机制和通信流程等内容,分析了HIP协议对移动性、多家乡等问题的支持,最后通过搭建HIP实验平台验证了协议的主要功能和相关性能。
Host Identity Protocol (HIP) is a typical protocol which is based on the identity and location separate. It removed the ambiguity of the IP address, and can well solve the problems which the Internet facing today, such as mobility, multi-home, routing scalability and security issues. This paper introduces the basic principles, mapping systems and the communication process of HIP, analysis the HIP protocol's support for mobility, multi-home, and finally verify the relevant function and performance of HIP through the openhip platform.
