几种折射率深度调制函数的线性啁啾光栅特性分析

基于耦合模方程,利用矩阵分析法对不同折射率深度调制函数的线性啁啾光纤光栅的反射谱和时延进行了数值模拟。以不同折射率深度分布为出发点,深入地讨论了线性折射率深度调制函数、正弦折射率深度调制函数和高次函数折射率深度调制函数的啁啾光栅的带宽、反射率、等参数与功能的关系,为实际系统设计提供了参考。得出的结论是:随着线性系数的增大,最大时延增大、峰值反射率下降;随着正弦折射率调制周期的减小,最大时延周期性变化,反射率和带宽基本不变;高次函数折射率深度调制时,奇次幂和偶次幂函数的时延相差很大,且奇次幂函数调制时峰值反射率比偶次幂函数的高。

Based on the coupled-mode equations, the reflection spectrum and group delay of the linear chirped fiber grating of different refractive index depth modulation are simulated by using matrix analysis method.With different refractive depth distribution as the starting point. To begin with the refractive index distribution , the relations between the refractive index depth of linear、sine、high order modulation function and their parameters such as band width , reflective index are discussed , offering references for the designing system. The conclusion is that with the increase of linear coefficient, the maximum delay up,the peak reflectivity down; With the decrease of the period of sine modulation,the maximum delay cyclical change,the reflectivity and bandwidth basically unchanged; The delay of odd order and even order refractive index modulation function has a big difference when modulation function of the refractive index depth is high order function ,the peak reflectivity of odd order refractive index modulation function is higher than even order.
