层状氢氧化物在PET水解回收对苯二甲酸中的应用

本文报道了一种废旧PET中对苯二甲酸的回收方法:(1)利用[Mg2Al(OH)6]NO3的选择性阴离子交换性质吸收PET碱催化水解产生的对苯二甲酸阴离子TA2-生成[Mg2Al(OH)6]2TA固体,过滤分离;(2)用CO32-将 [Mg2Al(OH)6]2TA中的TA2-交换出来,再过滤得到[Mg2Al(OH)6]2CO3固体和含有TA2-的滤液;(3)酸化上述滤液得到纯的对苯二甲酸, 从而实现对苯二甲酸从PET水解产物的分离和纯化;(4)将[Mg2Al(OH)6]2CO3的焙烧产物在Mg(NO3)2和Al(NO3)3的水溶液中处理,可以得到[Mg2Al(OH)6]NO3,后者可继续用于步骤(1),从而实现了循环使用。
his paper reports a method to recover pure terephthalic acid from spent PET by using the selective anion exchange property of layered double hydroxides. TA2- formed in the alkaline hydrolysis of PET under hydrothermal condition is first selectively exchanged into [Mg2Al(OH)6]NO3 host to form [Mg2Al(OH)6] 2TA, which is separated from glycol and impurity acids by filtering. TA2- in [Mg2Al(OH)6] 2TA can be then excluded into aqueous solution by anion exchange reaction of [Mg2Al(OH)6]2TA with CO32-. After filtration, the filtrate is acidified to precipitate terephthalic acid; and the solid [Mg2Al(OH)6]2CO3 is calcined to obtain the layered double oxide Mg2AlO3.5, which is further treated in a aqueous solution of Mg(NO3)2 and Al(NO3)3 to reconstruct [Mg2Al(OH)6]NO3. By this method, [Mg2Al(OH)6]NO3 is recovered and reused.
