在过去的几十年中，通信及移动通信技术突飞猛进发展；未来的移动通信系统不仅要有大的系统容量，而且还能支持话音、数据、图像、多媒体等多种业务的有效传输, 将来手机既可以打电话，又可以实现收发传真和电子邮件，浏览Internet、购物、医疗急救等多种功能。第三代移动通信的市场定位应基于移动多媒体业务，其成功的关键在于它提供个性化多媒体业务的能力，本文将在分析当前3G业务的基础上对未来的应用进行展望。
In the past decades, communication and mobile techniques has advanced a lot. Future system is supposed to achieve large capacity and versatile services. The 3G system focus on the mobile multi-media applications and the key of its success is providing customized service. We are going to forecast the development of 3G services.
