最近,由于数字信号处理技术逐渐被应用于相干接收机以补偿相干传输链路中的损伤,尤其是那些容限要求比较高的噪声(如正交幅度调制信号中的相位噪声),高阶正交幅度调制技术(QAM: Quadrature Amplitude Modulation)与数字相干相结合的技术就成为一种有竞争力的用于升级现有光网络的下一代技术。本论文改进并且提出了一种适用于16-QAM信号的前馈的数字载波恢复算法,其对受激自发辐射噪声有更好的容忍度。在给不同类型码元分别乘以最佳加权系数后,接收端灵敏度代价可以被提高0.2dB。

Recently, higher-order Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) in combination with coherent detection has become a promising candidate for upgrading the current optical network, since DSP can be utilized in such receivers to compensate for the stringent fiber impairments for QAM modulations such as phase noise. In this paper,An improved feed forward digital phase estimation algorithm with higher tolerance to ASE noise degraded 16-QAM signal is presented. Weights are producted to different classes of symbols and the sensitivity is improved by 0.2dB.
