MRI扫描是临床中脑部相关疾病诊断的常用检查方式,通过MRI,医生能够更加直观和准确的观察患者脑部的组织结构,进而易于疾病诊断以及治疗方案的制定,因此能够准确地对脑部MRI分割在临床有很重要的价值。而由于髓鞘形成和成熟过程,6个月婴儿脑部的白质、灰质在MRI中表现出相似的强度,这给分割带来了比较大的挑战。同时,传统的数据增强方式,没有考虑到脑部组织在一定程度上存在对称性,造成数据量成倍增加而使得模型训练效率不高,效果不佳。为此,本文基于翻转的数据增强方式,提出OneSide方法,使得模型更加关注于半脑的组织特征。并通过实验表明,此方式对比现有的翻转方法,能够提升模型的训练效率,并且有更好的训练效果。

MRI scan is a common examination modality for the diagnosis of brain-related diseases in clinical practice. Through MRI, doctors can observe the tissue structure of the patient\'s brain more visually and accurately, which in turn facilitates the diagnosis of diseases and the formulation of treatment plans, so being able to accurately segment the brain MRI is of great value in clinical practice. Due to the process of myelin formation and maturation, the white matter and gray matter in the brain of 6-month-old infants exhibit similar intensities in MRI, which poses a greater challenge for segmentation. Meanwhile, the traditional data enhancement approach, which does not take into account the symmetry of brain tissues to a certain extent, causes an exponential increase in the amount of data and makes the model training inefficient and ineffective. For this reason, this paper proposes the OneSide method based on the flipped data enhancement approach, which makes the model focus more on the tissue characteristics of the half-brain. We also show that this method can improve the training efficiency of the model and have better training effect than the existing flipping method.
