Web SLAM端云协同定位框架

Web SLAM Device-Cloud Co-Location Framework

SLAM技术发展迅速,但其应用仍局限于PC端以及移动设备的APP端。WebSLAM具有广泛的应用潜力,但是当前Web端运行SLAM受限于浏览器的运行环境、移动设备算力以及惯性导航设备频率和精度,效果并不十分理想,阻碍了WebSLAM的进一步发展。本文提出WebSLAM端云协同定位框架,将SLAM定位任务分布到移动端和云端,在保持移动端轻量化的同时,借助云端,提升Web SLAM定位系统的处理和计算能力,以达到更高精度,更实时的效果,使Web SLAM定位系统可用性提升,为WebSLAM定位系统的实现提供了可行的框架。

SLAM technology is developing rapidly, but its application is still limited to the PC side and the APP side of mobile devices. Web SLAM has a wide range of potential applications, but the current web-side SLAM operation is limited by the operating environment of the browser, the computing power of mobile devices, and the frequency and accuracy of inertial navigation equipment. The effect is not very satisfactory, which hinders the further development of Web SLAM. This paper proposes a Web SLAM terminal-cloud collaborative positioning framework, which distributes SLAM positioning tasks to the mobile terminal and the cloud. While maintaining the lightweight of the mobile terminal, the cloud improves the processing and computing capabilities of the Web SLAM positioning system to achieve higher accuracy. The more real-time effect improves the usability of the Web SLAM positioning system and provides a feasible framework for the realization of the Web SLAM positioning system.
