针刺治疗脊髓损伤后肢体功能障碍概况

Because of its characteristics of difficult to recover and complications happened, spinal cord injury (SCI) is a serious harm with high disability rate. While the western medicine treatment of SCI can easily result in complications such as stress ulcer and resistivity droped, chinese medicine acupuncture treatment has achieved good results on SCI cases in recent years.Moreover, these results show that acupuncture still has heavy development potentiality in SCI treating. In this article, literatures about the acupuncture treatment of limb disturbance caused by SCI were analyzed and summarized, clinical effects of different methods were compared, meanwhile, different acupoint selection, manipulation and therapy were reviewed. The mechanism of effects of acupuncture on SCI treating were discussed, and new ground were break.
