IDMA技术以其抗多径干扰性好、接收复杂度低等优点成为了第四代移动通信的关键技术之一。针对未来宽带移动通信高吞吐量、高带宽效率的要求,本文介绍了多层交织分复用空时码(ML-IDM-ST)系统的基本原理并对其性能进行深入分析。ML-IDM-ST系统是在IDMA系统的基础上利用空时码的思想演化而来, 具有接收简单,译码复杂度低,高的系统吞吐量等优点。

IDMA becomes one of the key technologies in the fourth-generation mobile communications for its’ good performance and low complexity, To meet the requirement of high-throughput, high-bandwidth efficiency in the broadband mobile communications in future, the paper introduces the basic principles of multi-layer iterative division multiplexing space-time codes (ML-IDM-ST) and analyses the performance of ML-IDM-ST system. ML-IDM-ST system is derived from using the space idea based on IDMA systems, which has the advantages of easily received, low decoding complexity and high system throughput.
