wireless ad-hoc network is a dynamic, decentralized and self-configuring network with no pre-existing fixed mobile devices. This paper introduces the features of wireless Ad Hoc networks. This paper also analyses the security challenges of group key management in wireless Ad Hoc network (WANet). This paper proposes a secure and effective group key management protocol for wireless Ad Hoc networks.
