蓝宝石头罩增透保护膜系的制备
Fabrication of infrared anti-reflective and protective films on sapphire domes
通过计算机模拟,对蓝宝石衬底上制备的增透保护薄膜的厚度均匀性进行了设计及优化。采用旋转臂雨蚀测试方法对蓝宝石验证片的抗雨蚀性能进行了测试。模拟结果显示:头罩外表面制备的SiO2薄膜其厚度不均匀性小于8.5%;雨蚀测试后,蓝宝石验证片的平均透过率损失小于1.0%。涂层通过雨蚀测试后,采用射频磁控溅射法在蓝宝石头罩上制备了SiO2薄膜。蓝宝石头罩外表面镀膜后在3~5 μm波段的平均透过率均大于91.0%,整个头罩外表面的平均透过率不均匀性小于2.0%。蓝宝石镀膜后的透过率比较理想并可以满足器件在实际应用中的要求。
Infrared anti-reflective films have been designed on sapphire and their film thickness uniformity was optimized by simulation calculations. Rain erosion tests of sapphire witness pieces were carried out on a whirling arm rig. Simulation results show that the thickness non-uniformity of SiO2 films was less than 8.5% over the convex surface of a dummy dome. After rain erosion test, the average transmission loss on all the coated pieces was less than 1%. After the coating passed the rain erosion test, SiO2 coatings have been prepared on sapphire domes by radio frequency magnetron sputtering. The average transmission of sapphire domes coated on convex surfaces can be increased to more than 91.0% at wavelengths from 3 to 5 μm. The transmission non-uniformity over the convex surface of the coated sapphire dome was less than 2.0%. The transmission results of the coated domes are satisfied and it could meet the requirement in application.
