MIMO技术是未来IMT-Advanced系统中的必选技术之一,它能够在不增加带宽的情况下大幅提高传输速率。MIMO系统容量受到多天线之间的空间相关性影响。当移动台运动时,多天线之间的空间相关性会发生快速变化,使得空间复用传输性能不稳定,可以通过仿真不同参数下的SCM信道空间相关性,以及相关性改变时多天线系统性能,得到空间相关性变化规律。仿真表明:SCM信道的空间的相关性随着天线距离、运动速度和天线朝向等参数变化而改变。天线间的空间相关性越小则系统性能越好。

MIMO technology is a key technique in IMT-Advanced system. It can increase the capacity of a system without expanding the frequency spectrum. However, the capacity is not stable, especially in case where mobile station(MS) moves around, since it is affected by the spatial correlation of multi-antenna. This paper simulates spatial correlation of SCM model in different parameter settings, as well as the performance of MIMO system in changing correlations. Simulations show that the spatial correlation of SCM corresponds with distance of antennas, velocity of MS and direction of antennas. The smaller the spatial correlation between antennas, the better the system performance.
