Field Data Analysis and Demonstration of a New Diagnostic Analysis Method for Waterflood Performance
本文引入国外一种新型水驱动态诊断方法。该方法的理论基础是Buckley-Leverett驱替理论和油水相对渗透率比值与含水饱和度为近似指数关系.使用条件为流度比M>1且注入水突破进入生产井且体积波及系数趋于稳定即可。该方法的最大特点是得出了水驱开发的时间相关性结论:即水驱的产油量不是直接取决于时间而是取决于某段时间内的累积产液量或注水量。本文的目的是分析、评价上述方法对国内油田的适用性。为此,详细介绍了该方法的数学模型、适用的油藏及开发阶段条件。并用国内若干个水驱油田开发的实际数据作了该方法应用的实例分析。检测用该方法作产量预测、生产动态诊断及体积波及系数计算方面的应用。并且与现有的一些水驱分析方法作了某些方面的比较分析。新方法中时间相关性的认识对于正确地预测未来产油量或产量递减分析是至关重要的。基于该模型的时间相关性所作出的水驱产量预测结果与实际情况的对比说明该方法具有理论完善、计算简便的优点,恰当的使用该方法将有助于水驱油藏的优化开采。
Yang (2009) proposed a new diagnostic analysis method for waterflood performance. The theoretical basis of the method is the Buckley-Leverett equation and an assumption of the semi-log linear relationship between the relative permeability ratio and water saturation. The method applies for the unfavorable mobility ratio and mature waterflood conditions, when the injection water has breakthrough into producer and the volumetric sweep efficiency stabilizes. An important feature of the method is its time-dependence: “the oil production in waterflood does not depend on time directly but on the cumulative gross production. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the applicability of the above method to the oil fields in China. In this paper, the mathematical model and physical description of the method is discussed in detail. Based on several waterflood reservoirs in China, the method are tested for the production forecasting, the diagnosis of the production performance, as well as the calculation of the volumetric sweeps efficiency. Comparison was made with the currently available analysis methods in some aspects. It is understood the importance of the time-dependence on the appropriate production forecasting. Based on several field data demonstration, it is evident that the new method can more appropriately forecast the field production performance than the current methods. The application of this method will help to optimize waterflood operation.
