Effect of preparation methods on CeZrAlMn oxygen storage materials

采用共沉淀法、改性浸渍法和浸渍法制备了Mn掺杂摩尔分数为5 %的CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3 (CZA)复合氧化物, 并采用N2-吸附脱附技术,OSC,XRD,XPS等方法对所制备的材料进行了表征。 结果表明, 共沉淀法制备的材料均形成了稳定的CZA固溶体,在600和1000 ℃焙烧后均表现出最好的织构性能和储氧性能。而改性浸渍法和浸渍法制备的样品在高温处理后出现分相,导致其织构性能和储氧性能有所降低。XPS结果表明, 共沉淀法制备的样品中Mn与CZA的作用更强。

Oxygen storage materials CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3 (CZA) with Mn dopant of 5% (molar fraction) were prepared by the co-precipitation method, modified-impregnation and impregnation method. And they were characterized by N2-adsorption and desorption method, oxygen storage capacity (OSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Results showed that sample prepared by co-precipitation method had highest surface area and best oxygen storage capacity, and formed stabilized solid solution. The samples prepared by other two methods showed phase separation, and lead to decrease of property of OSC and BET. XPS results showed Mn had stronger effect with CZA in the sample prepared by co-precipitation.
