his Paper describes the design of the soft IP Video Phone Based on SIP. First it introduces VoIP technology and the development of domestic and international video phone, and then introduces the SIP protocol. It focuses the architecture of the IP Video Phone based on PC and the detail of the design of the video phone system modules, which focused on the design of media processing modules, including audio and video interface design and RTP real-time transmission control.
