he authors apply Leray-Schauder continuous principle theorem and Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorem of cone expansion-compression type to a class of nonlinear fourth-order two-point boundary value problems whose nonlinear term contains first and second derivative, and obtain existence of n positive solutions, where n is an arbitrary number. In addition, by applying control functions and equations technique on it, we get some new results about the positive solutions.
