Hematopoietic stem cells are fundamental conditions for maintaining blood production in the body. The Formin family proteins have been reported to play an important role in the development of the hematopoietic system. Previous studies have shown that the expression of mDia2 protein in the Formin family is significantly elevated during late development of erythrocytes, and that mDia2 binds to Rac1/2 to regulate the nucleation of mouse embryonic erythroblasts. FHDC1 is a member of the Formin family and contains an n-terminal Fromin homedomain 1 (FH1) -Fromin homedomain 2 (FH2) cytoskeletal regulatory unit associated with microtubule binding and fiber assembly and regulatory functions. Although the specific role of FHDC1 in the development of hematopoietic stem cells and the detailed mechanism of the blood system remains to be further explored, as a member of the Formin family, it is likely to play a key role in maintaining the normal function of hematopoietic stem cells and blood production. Therefore, in this study, conditional knockout mice were constructed for FHDC1, and specific verification of the knockout mice and blood cell indexes were detected for FHDC1 conditional knockout mice, which provided a basis for further research on the function of FHDC1 in the hematopoietic system.
